12 JYOTIRLINGA - SHRI GRISHNESHWAR JYOTIRLINGA

12 JYOTIRLINGA - SHRI GRISHNESHWAR JYOTIRLINGA

In this sacred JingotLingas pilgrimage of King Shankara, the last, in which the time of the voyage can be considered complete, is JyotirLis twelfth, of Ghishishesh.

About 20 miles [30 km] west of Aurangabad, there is a village called Verul. In this valley, there is a place of pilgrimage called Shivalay, where the great Holy Triangle of Ghrishneshwar is found. The stories associated with Verul, Shivalay, and Grishneswar are as follows: This was originally the settlement of the Naga drive.

The Naga area is Bambi, the when known as "varul" in Marathi "Varul" gradually changed to "Verul" and is known only by this name the Yelaganga River flowing here. The name "Verul" is derived from Yelaganga, where the village is located on its banks, There was a king named "Yela" here.

The capital of his empire was the lapar, or Yelur or Verul. On one occasion, the king went hunting. While hunting, the king killed animals that lived with the Rishi and the munis as well. Seeing this, the angry Saints cursed the king. as a result, his entire body was infested with insects.

Now, struck by this curse, the king began to wander in the forest. Her throat was dry because she was so dry. There was, alas, no water could be found there. Eventually, he found a hole made in the hooves of a horse. When the king began to drink the water, a miracle occurred. The king's corpse was removed from all the insects. The king has done a great deal of remorse there.

King Brahma rejoiced and appeared before him and placed Parasnta Teerth there. He also built a large and sacred dam nearby. This Brahma Sarovar later became known as Shivalay. There is a story about Shivalay too: Shiva and Parvati were playing chess on Mount Kailasa.

Parvati tested Shiva. Sankara became angry about this and moved south. He went to live in the Sahyadri range, where there is a color freeze. The place was named after Mahheshamauli Bhainsmal. Parvati came looking for Shankar.

She won the heart of Shiva in the form of a girl from the Bhilmountain tribe. They both spend some time together happily. The forest eventually became known as kamyakavana. King Mahesha pleads with the ravens from the mahesmouli or Bhainsmal area. One day. Parvati was very tty. Shankara struck the earth with his trident and found, the water of the Bhagavati from Patal (land of the Netherlands). This is Shivalay.

Shivalay extends a little further where Shivanadi (Shivananadi) meets a lot more, Yelaganga just as Shiva and looking for a deer Miracle Parvati were busy in their love affair, ah glad you and the name Sadhanva became a woman.

This time he did a tough Tapa there. Shankara was excited and appeared. In fact, Sudhanwa was a woman in her previous life. Therefore, Shankara from the very curse of being a woman turned Susanwa into the Yelaganga river, and therefore, Punya Santa Yelaganga was born in Kamvawana.

Later, it would be a bath called Dhara Teerth or 'Sita's Snangriha "(toilet) and flow from a high point past the village of Verul.

He kept them in the palm of his left hand and mixed Shivalay water into it. With the thumb of food, he began to combine them both. Then a miracle happened. Vermillion has become ShivaLinga and a great light has come out of it. Parvati was surprised by this.

Then said, King Shankara. "This Temptation was hidden in Pretoria." And he took us away with this Trident Then a bubble appeared on the ground - with water (Kashi Khand) "Parvati kept that radiant light on the stone Linga and put it there. This Puma (perfect) Jyotirlinga is called Kunkumeshwar.

However, as Dakshayani created this experiment with his thumb, he named it Grishneshwara. (Ghrishna means conflict). This 240 ft X 185 ft temple is still as strong and beautiful as ever. In the center of the temple, the Dashavataras are carved in red. These are great to watch.

There is also the display of some beautiful statuette sculptures. A donor named Jayaram Bhatia, who discovered a copper tower with gold sheets and paintings, was made. The courtroom is made up of 24 pillars. There are fine carvings on these pillars. The scenes and drawings are beautiful. Garbhagriha measures 17 ft x 17 ft. Lingamurty faces east.

There is a beautiful Nandikeshwara in the courtroom. While Pradosh here. Shiva's words. The temple is governed by a government-appointed committee. At noon twelve drums are played and arati is performed. to install Garbhagriha should undress and go.

On Monday, nd Shivaratri and other festivities see a large meta (Fete) event taking place that remains busy with many visitors. Of the 21 peethas in Ganesha, one is known as Lakshavinayaka. First, people go to the Laksha temple for a year.

This place has always echoed the demise of Om Namah Shivaye! Om Namah Shivaya

12 JYOTIRLINGA - SHRI KEDARNATH JYOTIRLINGA

12 JYOTIRLINGA - SHRI KEDARNATH JYOTIRLINGA

Among the twelve JyotirLingas in Bhagwan Shankara, those in Kedarnath are located in the snow-covered Himalayas. This JyotirLinga is only accessible six months out of the year, from Vaisakha to Ashwin (Ashwiyaja). The end of the year is bitterly cold, and the Himalayas are blanketed with snow.

Therefore, the Karnath temple is always closed to pilgrims. In the month of Karthik, due to the snowfall, the statue of Sri Kedareshwar is removed from the temple after the battle with the ghee (buffer oil lamp), "Nandadeep". After that, the temple is sold for the winter.

From the month of Karthik to Chaitra the settlement of Sri Kedareshwar is transferred to Urvi Math, located in the valley. In the month of valshakh, when the doors of the temple are opened, the lamp "Inanda Deepa" is still burning. People came to see this glorious and devotional lamp in Shiva and felt blessed.

Haridwar or Hardwar is considered a gateway to heaven, a magical city or Mayapur. Before Haridwar, there are sanctuaries such as Rishikesh, Devprayag, the son of the prayer and Triyugi Narayan, Gaurikund. To get to Karnath one has to go through these places. One part of the journey travels by car and the other part of the car leaves.

This section of the Himalayan route is very difficult and dangerous. But the devotees do all of this with dedication and determination. They overcome all obstacles patiently. To climb a mountain, some use mules, some use Dolis (Swing like carriers), and some use walking sticks.

There are plans to get this here. There are dining and relaxation areas between tired yatris. After arriving in Gaurikund, weary travelers take a bath at places not far away. After this, they took the headless Darshan of Ganesha.

It was here in Gaurikund, where Shiva removed Ganesh's head with his trident and later an elephant's head. Not far from Gaurikund, near the snow-capped mountains "" - - on the banks of the Mandakini River, the gk temple. JyotirLinga of King Shankar appears. This is Kailash, where Lori Shankar originally lived.

But there is no Template image here. There is a high triangular mound. It is said that this is the back part of Mahisha (buffalo). There are different powers associated with this strange idea: During the war between the Kauravas and the Pandavas, their relatives and friends were killed, In order to free themselves from this sin, Pandavas went on a sacred journey.

But King Vishweshwara was not in Kailasa in the Himalayas. Upon reading this, the Pandavas, left Kashi. They reached the Himalayan mountains by Haridwar. They saw King Shankar in the distance. But King Shankara hid from them. Then Dharmaraj said, "Oh, Lord, you have hidden from our eyes because we have sinned.

However, we point you to another meeting. After we have taken your Darshan where our sins will be washed away. This place, where you hid, will be known as Guptakashi and become a famous temple. ”The Pandavas traveled from Guptakashi (Rudraprayag) to Gaurikund in the Himalayan regions.

They traveled about in search of King Shankara. While doing so, Nakul and Sahadev came upon a buffalo. It was different to look at. Dharmaraje commented, "It really was King Shankar took this form.

He is testing us. "Then! Beema followed the buffalo with his mound. The buffalo was clever and Bheema could not catch him. But Beema managed to hit the buffalo with his fist.

Beema started pulling at his tail. In this tug-of-war, the buffalo's face faces Nepal, leaving behind Kedar. The face of the buffalo is known as Pashupatinath in Nepal. In the back part of Mahesha, the famous JyotiLinga appeared. Lord Shankara emerged from this great light.

He appeared before the punks. By getting Darshan. of Lord Shankar, the Pandavas forgave their sins. The Lord told the Pandavas, "From now on, I will sit here as a triangular JyotirLinga.

By taking the Darshan of Kedarnath, the donors would gain money, "Near Kedardham, there are many symbols of Pandavas Raja Pandu who died here, when he tried to fall in love with Madri.

Tribes here perform a dance called "Pandav Nritya". The top of the mountain where the Pandavas went to Swarga, is known as the "Swargarohini". As Darmaraja walked to Swarga, one of his fingers fell or fell. In that area, Dharmaraj has installed Shiva Linga, which is equivalent to Thumb.

‘Winning Mahisharupa, Shankara and Beema fought the maces. Beema was overcome with remorse. He started rubbing King Shankara's body with Ghee. To commemorate the event, even today, the triangular Shiva 'JyotirLinga is massaged by Ghee.

Shankara is worshiped here in this way. here. Bel water and water are used for worship. When Nar-Narayan went to the village of Badrika and began to serve Partihiva, Shiva appeared before them. A few days later, the happy Shiva gave them some gifts.

Nar-Narayan wished that for the welfare of humanity, Shiva should remain there in his original form. Giving their wish, in the snow-covered Himalayas, to a place called Kedar, Mahesha himself said and lived there as Jyoti. Here, He is known as kedareshwara.

By visiting kedareshwar, sorrows do not come even in dreams. By worshiping Shambala (Kadareshwar) Pandavas removed all their grief. Badri-Keshwar's Darshan opens one of the material bonds. Near the great temple of Kedarnath, there are many sacred sites.

In the background, there is the Samadhi of Shankaracharya. Growing up, there is a dangerous rock called Bariguptan (Bhairav   Udan). One has to go through terrible, life-threatening situations. But what you get is not Morityu (Death) but Moksha (Salvation). On each side of the temple, there are eight holy places. In short, to say that in order to visit Kedarnath Jyotirlinga, one has to go the treacherous path.

But when people are determined and dedicated, they do not tire out. Everyone keeps singing - Jay Kedarnath! Jay Kedarnath !!

12 JYOTIRLINGA - SHRI TRYAMBAKESHWAR JYOTIRLINGA

12 JYOTIRLINGA - SHRI TRYAMBAKESHWAR JYOTIRLINGA

One of the twelve Jyotirlingas of King Shankara, the tenth is known as Tryambakeshwara. This great JyotirTaus in Gautami banks has a different form. The Lord in this Grabhagriha of the temple is not worshiped by Ate. checks with water (Jalahari) unlike others.

There is only part of the bottam of the grinding stone (Ukhali), instead, as a hole. In that hole there are three Lingas shaped like six. They should represent Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesha and that is why Tryambakeshwara. Of the three Lingas, the Mahesha Tiger always has a shower  water from the upper orifice.

It is a natural source of water that descends like King Abishah. From this JyotiaTry sometimes, the roar of a lion is heard. Sometimes flames can be seen from them. On those occasions, to avoid Shankara's wrath, milk mixed with Bang (opium) is placed in a pot and the pot is hung upside down to go down to Linga.

Rudrabisheka mantras were sung at that time. All that liquid just disappears into the hole, where the milk stops flowing, then the Lord should have calmed down and been at peace. About these different events that happen here. they have a unique story attached to each other.

Ahalya's husband, Gautama, made Tapas or penance on Mount Dakshina. It did not rain for a hundred years and the earth was drying up and species becoming extinct. Seeing these drought conditions, the inhabitants, the saints, and all the birds and animals fled there.

Saint Gautam made the beautiful Mangalik Tapas with Pranayama for six long months. Vareena, the rain of God rejoiced and appeared before Gautama, who was asking for water. At God's direction, Varuna, Gautam dug a hole in his hand. With the help of Varuna's miraculous powers, it was filled with water.

Varuna said: "Because of the power of your remorse, this well will become an endless source of water" Akshya. "He will be famous for your name.

After the discovery of this water, the saints began to make preparations for Yagna and the production of "Breehika: 'The river that gave cattle as Go-Daan became Godavari. Ganga who came at Gautama's request became Gaugtama Ganga.

That was a good time for Brahmagiri, the middle period, when the kurmavatara ended and before the thought of Varahavatar, Sanghiparva, the planet Gugu (Jupiter) was in Sing of Simha (Leo), Magha Shuddha Dashami, Thursday afternoon, when Gautami Ganga, Brahma, Vishnu and Vishnu were born , all confirmed the acquisition of Tryambakeshwar and remained there for their devotees. The Brahmagiri area also looks like Lingamurthy.

From the tip, Gautami Ganga's water flowed. The spring in Brahmagiri from which Godavari comes from, is known as Gangadwar. The water of the Ganga flows on a cowface-shaped rock, always. The Godavari mata temple is found here.

The idol looks happy and peaceful. VarahaTeertha is near. After leaving Gangadwar, the Godavari River sinks and almost disappears, reappearing in Tahalhati. To prevent it from disappearing, Gautam Rishi threw Darbhas on all fours. As a result, Godavari flows to Kushavarti. Kashavarti MahaTeerth is a 27-meter circle.

It is built very strong. There are steps on both sides to make it easier to descend into the water. During the Simhasta (Leo), every 12 years, Kumbhmela is held here. Lakhs of people take a sacred dip in Kushavarta.

On all four sides of the Kushavartha corridors are built. Sculptures are carved here in Brahmagiri Talhati, near Kushavarti, on a large lake called Ganga Sagar. Nearby are the Samadhi of Nivruttinath and the caves of Gorakshaguja.

After entering Samadhi in the Netherlands, Gyaneshwar died in front of his older brother. This saddened Nivruttanath. A few days later, he also entered Samadhi here, in this shrine of his Gugu Gahineenath. It is here in this cave, that Gahineenath gave the initiation or Deeksha of Nathpanth in Nivruttinath.

It is said that Sri Datta Bhagawan reached Siddhi in the same cave. Nearby, there is Neaparaparvat, where the Neelambika temple is located. In Anjali Parvat, HanumanAnjani's mother makes her regrets, On the way to the paricrama, there are beautiful places like Ram Teerth, PrayagTeerth and Nrisimha Teerth etc.

Pesha's kings have planted trees in all 25-foot-long distances. During the reign of the Peshwas, criminals were asked to perform the Brahmagiri Paracrama (circling) as punishment. The town of Tryambak is about 150 feet [155 m] above sea level.

It has the pure mountain spirit and is a holy place of holiness. The temple of Tryambakeshwar was built by King nanasaheb Peshawa. The pillars on each side of the Temple are adorned with beautiful paintings. There is Nandi's temple in front of the great temple.

Everyday drummers came to play at Nakkaras. At the main temple of Tryambakeshwar JyotirLinga, Nitya (always) Puja, Arab and Prasad etc. On special occasions, larger gatherings are also planned. In such cases, the image of the Lord is adorned with elaborate costumes and jewelry, including a crown full of precious stones.

The crown was brought by Naro Shankarji as part of his spoils, during his invasion of the South. He presented the crown to Lord Shiva. Sardar Vinchurkarji has given a good cart to the ruling diety. Every Monday, the Tryambakeshwar flew to Kushavarti at great speed and returns to the mighty Gangs and Godavari, a small river called the Ahilya joins.

In this Sangam (meeting place) a ritual called Nagaharam baNaganarayanbal is organized by certain people. It is believed that because of certain unfulfilled ancestral desires, some people have no children. In order to remove this practice Nayanarambal has been held.

Made like the tyrants of North India. It is said that by performing this ritual, people will be blessed with children. Someone rightly says 'Tatra gatwa kuru shraddhaapitunuddishya yatnataha "! Tryambakeshwar Jyotirt_in is a unique, great, sacred and wonderful place to travel.' Jays Tryambakeshwarl Jaya Tryambakeshwarll '

12 JYOTIRLINGA - SHRI VISHWESHWAR JYOTIRLINGA

12 JYOTIRLINGA - SHRI VISHWESHWAR JYOTIRLINGA

Shri Vishweshwara is located where the Varana and Asi rivers meet the Ganges, a beautiful city built there in ancient times. It was called Varanasi. Varanasi, a place of pilgrimage, a tribe called kasha used to live there. Therefore, Varanasi is also known as Kashi.

Near Kashi, Ganga flows in the shape of a bow. It has therefore gained special importance. A king named Deivodas expanded this area.

The seat of Nirvikar anya and Satan Brahma has taken the form of Saguna Vishwarupa from Nirgun Roopa or first form. Shiva Roopa became Purusha (man) and Stree again.

Prakriti and Purusha (Nature and Man) were once anointed by Shiva to make Tapas in the universe for good. He described the best place for this purpose, Nirgun Shiva, with his power and the beautiful city called Panchakoshi.

Vishnu, who had been praying for Shiva for a long time after which the water was there, Vishnu was amazed at this wonderful event, and in his head, a precious stone was heard in his ear. Because of this, it is also called Manikarnika.

The entire Panch Koshi water area was then collected at his Trophy by Shiva. Here is V walking with his wife. After that from the center of Vishnu was born a lo with Brahma in it. Brahma was anointed by Shiva to create the world Brahma created this beautiful world.

There were five crore Yojanas of (The Woman) (Shiva-Shakti) who ordered to create the world. When prayer aura. created here, spent many rings from the ven as he plowed the area, it was the Manikarnika ishnu slapt tus flower, in that area and fourteen Lokas.

To save the lives of those bound by their actions or Karma, Shiva has kept the city of Panchakoshi far from the rest of the universe. In this city, Shiva himself has founded a savior Muktidayak Jyotir Linga, who will never leave. Shiva removed the very Kashi from his President and placed him in this mortal world.

It was not to be destroyed at the end of Brahma's day, but during the time of Prayay that is, the final destruction of the earth, Shiva saved it by keeping it safe in his trident. In Kashi, the Avimukteshwar Linga exists forever. For those who will never hope for salvation, find Moksha here.

This holiest city of Panchakoshi, capable of eradicating every sin imaginable, is a special Moksha vehicle named "Samyugna". That is why this city is ruled by Brahma. Vishnu and Mahesha is a place where even the gods want to die.

Sarwaguna inside and Tamoguna outside, are the qualities of Rudra here. During the prayer, Vishwanatha Bhagavan Sri Shankar did the above and sat down with Parvati. The town of Kashi is the site of Moksha and Ganga.

Those who live in him find Mukti or Sindiso, even without going to any place to visit. Anyone, be it man, woman, young, old, Sadvava, Pavitra, Apavitra, Prasuta, Aprasuta, Shadesh, Andaja, Udibhaja, Brahman, Kshatriya, Vaishya, and Sudra, all found Moksha.

There is no doubt about this. Whatever the person may be doing, eat it. sleep or anything else, if you leave this country from Avimukteshwar, you will definitely find Moksha. Any small act of beauty or of Punyakarya. takes away all sins.

Good people and bad people are born into this world. But by staying in Kashi, they both found Moksha. Later, more people came to build the temple. A king named Banar developed the city of tourism. About one and a half thousand beautiful temples are built here, the Vishweshwara temple tower is a hundred feet high.

KashiNagar is so large that even if the whole universe were destroyed in the Palace, it could remain unchanged. Dandapani and Kalabhairan guard the city. They lived there permanently. On the banks of the Ganga here there are eight bathrooms.

There are also several Teerthkundas. They have been there since the days of the Vedas. Varanasi, a devout Hindu pilgrimage, soon became a spectacle for Muslims.

From 1033 to 1669 AD Kashi was subjected to devastating attacks, temples were demolished and Masjids were built there instead. But thanks to the devotion of the devout Hindus, the JyoterLinga pilgrimage continued to flourish.

During the British and Maratha colonies, the area developed quite well. Even the monks of Jaina and Boudha helped to preserve the image of the site. The temple of Kashi Vishweshwar as we now see was built by Ahalya Devi Holkar in 1777 AD. It. In 1785 AD, the then king of Kashi, Mansaram, and his son h3lvant Singh built many other temples near Varanasi.

In 1755 AD the Avadh pant pratinidhi (representative) renovated the ancient temple of Binlumadhava and renovated the Temple of kalab hairava as built by Srimant Baji Rao Pesha in 1852 A.D. King Ranjit Singh had towers of the Kashi Vishwanath temple covered in gold.

A large bell hung in the temple. Presented by the King of Nepal. Around Saranath, there are numerous Buddhist monks, Viharas and Chaitra grihas. In 1931 AD, the Mahabodhi community built the magnificent Baddha Temple in Saranath.

Hindu devotees visit Kashi to offer sacrifices. Here they perform many rituals and feel blessed. On the other hand, several foreign tourists visit the area regularly. Pla.:es to see included, Ghats, Temples, Tapobhoomi and beautiful scenery.

Kashi Kshetra and Sri Vlshweswara JyotirLinga are considered to be the most sacred places in the world. To die in Kashi or to perform the last rites is considered the way to the Heavens i.e. Moksha.

Jaya Gange, Jaya Vishwanath, Om Namah Shivaya. The whole place echoes where there are chantigs. The gods of Varanasi are described in Sanskrit as follows: "Vishweshwaram Madhavam Dhundi Dandapanimcha Bhairavam Vande Kashim Gashamganga Bhavane manirookarnikaam.

12 JYOTIRLINGA - SHRI RAMESHWAR JYOTIRLINGA

LOCATION: In the Ramnad region of Tamilnadu. On the southern coast of India. at the lowest point, the seaside Rameshwar temple is located. This JyotirLinga is one of the four sanctuaries mentioned above.

Taking water to the Ganga Rameshwar is considered to be the most beautiful and honorable thing to do after visiting the four sanctuaries. After the holy bath in indumadhav with the water of the Ganga.

Sacred water is transported to Dhanushkoti Setumadhav, after which a small amount of sand from here is taken to Prayaga's (Allahabad) Venumadhav and then into Triveni Sangam where from Sriveni Sangam, the small Ganga water from here is brought home. Completing this practice is believed to make one's journey to Char Dham of the four sanctuaries complete and successful.

In classics like Skandha Purana, Shivapurana etc., Rameshwar is portrayed as a very important place Rameshwara's story goes like this: After Sita's capture, Ram wandered in the woods looking for here. While he did. met S Sugriva. and made friends with him.

Later, with the help of special envoy Sri Hanuman, he discovered where Sita had been taken. Rama then prepared an army to attack the Ravan empire and reached the shores of the South Seas. He had no way to cross the sea.

Lakman and Sugrive saw Rama, a devout Shiva who was in great distress and could not do anything. But Ravan received some gifts from Lord Shiva. Rama knew this so, his fears would not rest. In the meantime, Rama is completely dry.

As he was about to drink water, he remembered that he was going to make Shiva Pooja. He soon made Parthiv Linga and served it in sixteen ways. I.e. Shodasopachar Vidhis.

Ram prayed to Lord Shiva with zeal and soul and sang hymns of praise to the Lord with a loud voice. She danced and performed the sounds of "Aagad bam bam". This pleased Shiva immediately and he appeared before Rama and told her that he could ask for any gifts and that he would give them.

Ram showed great care, love and affection for Shiva and prayed and bowed. Rama said 'If you are wandering around giving me my wishes, please stay in this world for all and do if the saint' Shiva gave the same as "Evamastu" which means "so be it" He then stayed there and came to be known as Rameshwara, from Shiva Linga and popular.

With the blessings of King Shiva, Rama killed all demons including Ravana and conquered. Anyone who takes the Jarsot of JyotirLinga in Rameshwar, sprinkles the sacred waters of Ganga, finds salvation and reaches Kaivalya Moksha or Nirvana.

12 JYOTIRLINGA - SHRI NAGNATH JYOTIRLINGA

When Dakshaprajapati captured Mahayagna, he did not invite Shankara through it. Parvati could not bear this little. He jumped into the Yagnakunda of holy fire and gave his life.

This made Shankara very unhappy and sad. He began to roam the forests. He came to a large gorge called Amardaka and began to live there. Again, he had to face insults. As a result, he felt depressed and turned his body to ashes.

After a while, Pandavas got there during their Vanvas (life in the jungle) building a place to live. Their cattle often went to the same river bank to drink water. After drinking water, the milk usually flows into the ri

Ver as if the cows were sacrificing in the river. One day Bhima saw this wonderful event. He immediately told Dharmaraja the same. After that Dharmaraja said, "Surely, some great god must have lived in this river '" After that the Pandavas began to draw water from the river.

Part of the river was so hot that the water was boiling. On the west coast in area 16 Yojanas Daruka and Daruk need to stay. Hermites were tired of being harassed by Daruk, and others.

So they fled to Orvamuni, who cursed the Demons to be destroyed. The Devas began to attack the Demons. Now, the Demons are beginning to worry. Daruka, who received some special sticks from Parvati, lifted the whole forest, took it to the sky, and placed it in the middle of the sea.

Only then did the freed demons continue to dwell there. They used to travel by boat to catch shepherds and then confine them to the island. On one occasion, there was a Shiva devotee named Supriya who was among the prisoners.

He has never eaten or drank water without flipping Shiva. He continued to make Puja even while in prison. When the guards informed the commanding officer, he ordered Supriya's death. After that Supriya prayed for King Shankara for his life. The Lord appeared before him immediately and destroyed the whole group of demons including their families.

The Lord opened the whole island to all four classes of people for life. In another country, Parvati here gave Daruka a blast - As a result, at the end of that period, only the Demons would be built and he would rule Daruka. King Shiva accepted this.

After that Shiva and Parvati stayed there. Shiva also took the place of Jyotir Linga, with Nageshwar and Parvati known as Nageshwari. The art of the Nagesh temple construction is simply impressive. The temple was built of stone during the Pandava period.

The four walls of the Temple are very strong and the passages are large. The courtroom is supported by eight pillars. It is oval in shape. Both this and Nagesha Lingamurthy are found in the small inner Garbhagriha. here. there is no idol of Nandi in front of Mahadeva.

There is a separate temple in Nandikeshwara behind the great temple. On all four sides of the great temple, twelve small Jyotrtingas temples were built. Apart from these, VedavyasaLinga, Bandareshwar. Nilakanteshwar, Ganapati, Dattatreya, Muralimanohar, Dasavatar temple and idols etc. are present.

In all, there are 108 Shiva temples and 68 temples. The Naganath temple complex is a magnificent one. Inside is another shrine called Runamochan Teerth. Both temples are named after the "Mother-in-Law" temples. Every 12 years, during Kapila Shashti's time, Kashi Ganga performed as "Padarpan".

This time the water of Teerth Kund looks as lovely as crystal. And at some point it becomes "Shivala Yukt." Near the temple of Naganath, there are several statues of various gods. Besides these there are many idols of animals, soldiers telling certain stories.

These stone sculptures are beautiful to look at. In the main comer, there is a statue of Parvati, who barks at Shiva trying to silence him. This picture is amazing to look at with its beautiful features. It is incomparable in its expression of emotions.

Samadhis of Anandi Maharaj and Tupkari etc., a memorial to Visoba Kochar and Namdev is also found here. The Story of the Teacher-Student follows: Once there was a meeting of the saints at the house of Sant Gora Kumbhar in 1212, in the Oundhiya Naganath area.

When Namdev wanted to make a Bhajan Kirtan at the temple of Oundhiya Naganath, he began to sing in praise of the Lord. Some of the older Brahmins sang Rudramantra at the time. They felt disturbed by Namdev's singing.

They asked Namdev to go to the back of the temple to sing. ie so the singing behind the miracle of Then T ha. The temple turned and turned away. King Shankara turned the face of the temple back and forth to listen to Namdev's singing.

The Brahmins felt backsliding. They went to Namdev and Legged for pardon. Aurangazeb was intolerant of other religions and wanted to destroy this Hindu temple. When he tried, thousands of bees came out of the temple and attacked Aurangazeb and her army.

He left the demolition work in the middle and left. The devotees rebuilt the broken Temple. Sometimes snakes with their doors open can be seen standing in the picture of Naganath Linga. When they drink the milk left in their cups, it is unknown. Jaya Shri Naganath !! Jaya Shri Naganath !!

The Ganga River came and flowed down King Shankar's Jata (Hair), headed straight for Swallg (Heaven), and came to earth. In Maharashtra, Pune district in Tehsil of Rajguru Nagar (Khed) before Ghodegaon, there is Sahyadri mo, the middle distance.

The Bhavargiri, Rathachal, and Bima Shankar Mountains are located here. In the mountains of Bima Shankar, the sacred sanctuary of Bima Shankar is found. Although it is a very windy place, one does not experience cold winds here. There are lions in the forest here.

To find rest, he settled here in the highlands of the Sahyadri Mountains and sweat began to flow from his large body in the thousands of streams.

It all came together and collected in a pool or Kund. The river that started there was known as Bhima, which can still be seen today by the devotees and praying to Bhimakaya Rudra in this way: "To save the righteous people, stay here forever".

Someone brought a dairy cow and stopped it there. The milk that came out of the cow's teats stopped the bleeding from the ground. To everyone's surprise, a bright JyotirLinga of Shankara appeared on earth.

The people built the Temple there and installed JyotirLinga in the temple. This temple came to be known as the Bhima Shankara Temple. Bhima Shankara Temple is built in Hemadpanthi style. Decorated with Dashavatar images. These are great to watch.

He recaptured all of Ravana's heads and handed him the troops. Ravana expressed his desire to take Shiva to Lanka as a blessing. He said, "I want to take you to Lanka. Shankara, who is kind to the people who are devoted to him, was impressed and agreed to accompany Ravana to Lanka.
He told Ravanan, "You have to treat my Dangers with care and dedication, but be careful not to put it down until you get where you are going, otherwise it will stay wherever you put it," warns Shiva.

Ravana began the journey home carrying Shivaling. Along the way, he wanted to relieve himself by urinating. He asked the shepherd boy to hold the Tempt while he freed himself. The herdsman could not feel the weight of Linga and when he could no longer hold it, he put it down.

And Shiva Linga stayed there as King Shiva was already anointed and known as Vaidyanatheshwar. Here, the gods were saddened by Ravana taking Shiva to his Lanka. They asked Santa Narada to do something. Narada met Ravana and told her that by praising her remorse with Tapas, she had made a mistake by relying on Shiva.

Believing Shiva's voice was wrong. Go to him and slander him and find your way. Go to Kailasa and deliver it completely. Your success will be measured by Kailasa's move there. "Ravana was tricked into believing in Narada. Ravana immediately pursued Narada's request.

This angered Near Parali Village, the Temple was built of stone on a high hill. The temple is surrounded on four sides by solid walls. The interior has corridors and a courtyard. Outside the temple, there is a Deep Stambh or a large pillar.

12 JYOTIRLINGA - OMKARESHWAR JYOTIRLINGA

From the Vindhyanchal range in Madhya Pradesh, India's largest river, the Narmada, turns westward with bullets in that range.

The deep and wide river seems to have penetrated all the sins and sorrows of the people and delivered them from these. The Narmada River, which flows mainly into the mountains, is also known as the "Revs".

The smooth, round stones found in the river are called "BanaLingas". "Narmada then Kankar, UtteShankaris the belief of devotees. Thus, Narmada is also known as the" Shankari river. On the banks of the Narmada river, there is a large island where the fourth site of JyotirLingas "Omkaram Mamleshwar" is located.

The island and the river are shaped like "OM" and thus lower its name. It's natural. The devotees around the temple consider themselves blessed because they perform the Parikrama or Circumambulation of Omkara itself and the Darshan of the sacred JyotirLinga.

The banks of Narmada and the island are extremely beautiful. The beauty of Nature here seems believable. Houses lined with green, sturdy mountains, the temple, KotiTeerth found in waterfalls and valleys such as the Chakrateert are some of the places to be seen.

One can see very big fish and crocodiles in these waters. There are many trees with beautiful creepers in them all. Groups of monkeys live in these trees. There are many kinds of birds. The towers of the temple look shiny and glistening in the middle. The whole spirit echoes with the sound of "Om Namah Shivaya".

It is here that King Sankara takes the body of Omkareshwara "and" Amaleshwara ", in the form of JyotirLinga. The waters of Narmada come from Arghya (holy water) or Jalahari of Omkar JyotirLinga and flow through the mountains, below and later in the invisible stream, Narmada joins the deepwater source next to the Omkareswar Experimental image.

It flows in there. When more bubbles appear below this spring, it is said, King Lank Shankar is overjoyed. King Mandhata made this shrine his capital. Therefore, the area is also known as Omkar Mandhata. Five generations of Mandhata are here and today.

Vindhya Mountain also caused great regret and delighted Omkar-Mamleshwar As a result, the whole place turned out to be beautiful. Many hermits like Agastya have worked great penances with the Japas at Omkar- Mamleshwaram JyotirLingam.

They built their hermitages. This tourist site became famous in historical times. In 1063AD, Paramarking Udayaditya placed four stone inscriptions containing four Sanskrit Stotras and dedicated them to the Mamleshwar temple.

Pushpadanta's "Shiva Mahima Srotra" can also be seen as a stone inscription. Originally the natives lived here on the island of Omkareshwar is settlement, It belonged to the Goddess Kalika Devi. Devotees to the goddess became known as Bhairavgan and were often the object of religious persecution.

The temple was rebuilt by Peshwa Baji Rao, second. After Pesho, Punyasotlhk Ahilya Devi Holkar made many improvements to the ancient temple.

He built strong, broad, and beautiful Ghats. Important among which is the KotirLingarchana program.

12 JYOTIRLINGA - MAHAKALESHWAR JYOTIRLINGA UJJAIN

12 JYOTIRLINGA - MAHAKALESHWAR JYOTIRLINGA

On the banks of the river Kshipra, the town of Ujjain is located in Madhya Pradesh. Also known as Indrapuri Amaravati, and Avantika. Due to the number of gold towers of several temples, the city is also known as "Swama Sringa".

One of the seven cities of liberation or liberation, Avantika Nagar has 7 Sagar Teerthas, 28 Teerthas, 84 SiddhaLingas, 25-30 ShivaLingas, Ashtabhairav, Ekadasa Rudrasthana, temples of devotees, Jalakund and reminders are there.

It sounds as if Indrapuri, the city of the Gods, has here and there all 33 gods that control Ujjain. Mahakaleswar's greatness is indescribable, Chandrasena, king of Ujjain was not only an expert but also a very devoted man to King Siva.

On one occasion a follower of his friend Maheswari Manibhadra gave him a beautiful gemstone called the Sundara Chintamani. It was so bright and beautiful when Chandrasen wore it around her neck, that she looked more glorious than the gods of heaven.

It can even make them feel jealous. At one point, other kings went to ask Chandrasen to part with the stone and Chandrasen immediately refused to do so, angered the kings, who also attacked Chandrasena's empire.

When Chandrasena realized that she was surrounded by enemies, she sought the help of Mahakal. Bhagawan Shiva was happy with his prayers and showed him the solution to his problem.

At that time, accidentally, a Brahman woman wandered near Mahakal, carrying her child with her, and suddenly became a widow. An illiterate boy once insulted a king who played Puja at the Mahakaleswar temple and felt compelled to do the same.

He brought a beautiful stone and put it in his empty house. He thought it was the body of a Shiva man and began to worship it. The boy was so absorbed in prayer and nose, that he even forgot to eat.

When his mother called him, any phone numbers were irrelevant to him. He prayed silently. Angered by this, the mother, who was still bound by worldly love, abandoned ShivaLinga. He destroyed everything to worship.

The boy was very upset about what his mother had done. He began to pray to Shiva with all his mind. Shiva immediately came to the rescue of his volunteer. The ShivaLinga stone brought by the herdsman's son was soon adorned with precious stones and turned into JyotirLinga.

After Singing in praise of King Shiva, when the boy returned to his house, he was surprised to find a beautiful palace home. So, through the Grace and Blessings of Lord Shiva, the boy became rich and lived a very happy life.

Meanwhile, enemy kings clung to the Chandrasena empire, and war broke out among them. They started by saying that King Chandrasena was a devout Shiva and that Jijain itself was the city of Mahakal.

Therefore, it is impossible for anyone to defeat them. Then they decided to extend a friendly hand to King Chandrasena and together they worshiped Mahakal. Adyapeetha, that is, the basis of Sanscrit learning, ethics, knowledge or science and art originated in this area.

It really is Triveni Sangam or reading about three great things. The size of the city of Ujjain was fortified by the Mauryaya kings and other kings.

In the time of the Mahakal Shiv temp '. Located in Ujjain on the banks of the Kshipra River, at 4 AM Puja is a perform. After Abhishek, Chitabhasm (Ash) is used throughout Mahakal. According to tradition, the Chitabhasm (human ashes) is considered sacred and unpleasant.

Anyone who accidentally touches it, needs to be cleansed. But his inquiry becomes sacred, by simply touching Mahakal's body, because Siva is either Nishkam or has no desire. He is not influenced by materialistic desires, which is why Shiva is Mangalmay or lucky.

Shiva's greatness is described in this Sloka, thus: "Chitabhasmolepah Sragapinrukarotee parikarah Amangalyam sheelam nava bhavatu naamaivamakhilam Tathaapismritunaam varadaparamam mangalamasi."

So Shiva is beautiful and beautiful. Avanti Nagar is Shiva's favorite city. Those who visit the Mahakal Temple and take up Darshan will never be touched by grief even in their dreams.

Those who pray for whatever they wish to Mahakal Jyotirlinga will be granted all his wishes. They would love salvation.

12 JYOTIRLINGA - MALLIKARJUN JYOTIRLINGA

12 JYOTIRLINGA - MALLIKARJUN JYOTIRLINGA

Srisailam is located in the Kurnool region of Andhra Pradesh. Shouts of joy fill the area. The whole area is covered with forests of Kadali, Bilva trees, mountains, and Pataraganga.

All echo the sentiments of those devoted ones. In ancient times, King Shankara was supposed to visit the same place. He decided to make this his permanent residence. This place is called Kailash Niwas.

When Kumar Kartikeya returned to Kailash after completing his world tour, he heard of Ganesha's wedding from Narada. This made him angry. Despite being banned by his parents.

Touching their feet, he bowed and went to Krounch Mountain. However, several attempts were made to silence Parvati and to make him understand the situation, all to no avail. He was very upset.

Lord Shankara then sent Deva Rishis to Pacify Kumar and returned him. But even those efforts failed. Parvati was so worried about being away from her son, she begged Shankara to look for their son. Together, they set off in search of Kumara.

However, Kumara left with three other Jonas, after hearing about his parents coming after him to Krouncha Mountain. Not finding their son there, Shiva and Parvati were worried.

Before continuing to search for their son on each mountain, they decided to leave a lamp on every mountain they visited. From that day on. the area is known as JyotirLinga Mallikarjuna.

Shiva and Parvati are believed to have visited the area in Amavasya (No day of the month) and (full day of the month) Pournami, respectively. Visiting this JyotirLinga not only blesses a person with countless riches, but also a name and fame and fulfills all desires.

Legend has it that in ancient times, Arjuna went on a pilgrimage to the shrine. During his visit, he came across his Kadali Vans (banana groves). Lord Shankara wanted to test Arjuna's ability to bow. He took the form of a Bil (Mountain tribal) and followed him and hunted wild boars, after which Arjuna also-ran.

They both put their claim on the pig. They fought and Arjuna won in the end. Excited, King Shankara appeared before him. He is famous for Kiratarjun Yuddha. On one occasion, a princess named Chandravati decided to go into the woods to express her regrets.

He has chosen Kadali Vana for this purpose. One day, he saw a miracle. The Kapila cow was standing under a Bililwa tree and milk was flowing from all four of her teats, sinking into the ground. The cow has been doing this as a normal daily routine.

Chandravati dug the site and became speechless with the invention of what he saw. There was Syarnbhu ShivaTrying for self-promotion. It shone and shone like the rays of the sun, and it looked like it was burning, throwing flames all around.

Chandravati prayed to Shiva in this body as JyotirLinga. He built a large Shiva Temple there, Lord Shankara was very happy for him, Candravati went to Kailash windborne. You have received salvation with Mukti.

In one of the temple's stone inscriptions, Chandravati's story may appear to have been recorded. Shaila Mallikarjuna's shrine is located on the banks of the Krishna River Here the Krishna River is in the form of Palaganga (underground spring).

Dedicated lakhs take a sacred dip here and head to Darshan for JyotirLinga. During the Karnataka Movement, Chatrapati Shivaji used to come to take the Darshan of JyotirLinga during the Maharatri He built a tower on the right side of the Temple and opened a free restaurant.

The kings of the Vijayanagar Dynasty also built the Temple, Tower, Portico, and the dam. Ahelyadevi Holkar, a devout Shiva devotee, built a sturdy bathhouse containing 852 steps on the shores of Patalganga.

Previously, this part of the Shaila Mountains was a difficult, inaccessible, and dangerous place. Even they, the devotees, with their great power, used to get there in great numbers.

Hiranyakashipa, Narada Pandavas, Sri Ram are some of the great legends who should have visited this sacred place.
